Original Configuration for the iPod. I used the Belkin charger because it provided a line-out for audio, instead of using the headphone jack. The cables made it look ugly.

Inventory of all the parts. I am also upgrading the FM modulator to a PLL style. They provide a clearer signal.
The old FM Modulator (non-PLL) up inside the glovebox area.
The center compartment where the power switch is hidden.
The hidden power switch, well out of the way.
Getting ready to remove the old FM modulator. I had to use two adapters for the antenna. The Vibe uses the mini style jacks.
The new parts all connected and tested for functionallity. I have learned to always test before closing it all up.
The dock completed. No loose wires. Just the iPod in clear sight for easy use.
Closeup view from the driver's seat.
This is the only cable exposed. Much better than the original setup. Also notice that the clip did not require any holes drilled. The hazard light switch is obstructed a little.
I am leaving the original RCA jacks in place to connect other music systems.
Sticks out from the dash a little bit, but it is the best out of all the different models I have seen for the Vibe.
